Ethics

This is the AI policy for leaf valley HS. This is going to ensure fair use of AI, and to prepare students to become college students!

Definitions:

Cheating: Breaking the given rules of an assignment that are given by the teacher to gain and unfiar avantage against other classmates.

Fairgame AI: AI that the teacher allows the students to use in order to complete the assignment.

Unfairgame AI: AI that the teacher does not allow the students to use.

Meat of the day:

If a student uses AI, then the student has to say how they use it.’

You can use the AI how the teachers say you can for your class. If the teacher says you can use a tool, then you can use it, but if they don’t talk about it, then you have to ask and get a yes.

The school will record you with the mic on your chromebook and record you with the camera on it too.
